Welcome to The Sugar Woods where quality wedding cakes and desserts have been our business for twelve years.  The Sugar Woods is a home-based business small enough to provide individual attention, and with over twenty-five years of baking experience knowledgeable enough to create delicious desserts.

The Sugar Woods is located in Oldham County, Kentucky and is licensed and inspected by the State Health Department.  We have provided services for weddings in Oldham, Jefferson and Fayette Counties in Kentucky as well as Southern, Indiana.  We are easily reached from Interstate 71 or US 42 by appointment  502.222.9671.

A Sugar Woods cake is prepared with quality ingredients, not an assortment of pre-made cake layers, mixes or manufactured frostings.  Our award-winning design details include rolled fondant, hand-made sugar flowers and chocolate ruffles.

Cakes are priced per serving and begin at $2.50/slice.  Final cost is determined by your flavor and design choices.

We provide delivery and set-up while cutting and serving is the responsibility of your hotel or catering staff.

Details of your cake and payment are presented in a service contract.

While The Sugar Woods is best known for wedding cakes, other desserts are available as well.  Whether you are interested in a groom's cake or an assortment of miniature desserts, you'll find the quality you expect.  Madagascar vanilla, fresh unsalted butter and Callebaut chocolates are all employed to create delicious desserts for your wedding or event.
